I was initially going to use a $1 off coupon on these individual Lloyd's tubs to bring the price down to $1.50, but to my surprise there were peelies right on the tubs that will give you the same deal.

It took about a month to come into the mail. But both my Mom and me received our beauty bags today with the contents above. I was very surprised that we both recieved the bag because we both live at the same address, so what a nice surprise. There's also several coupons that came in the bag with all the goodies.

When you scan in two at the check out, one will ring in at $0 and the other will ring in for $8.49. Because of Jewels new cash registers it's possible that when the coupon is scanned it may not go though at first, deducting $8.49. Your cashier may not catch this when it happens so pay attention closely and let them know if they miss it. Jewels coupon policy currently lets you use a BOGO Free coupon in a BOGO Free sale, don't let them tell you differently. Bring a copy of their coupon policy if you need to.

And it kept printing out another $5 off coupon even though the coupon says that it won’t. So please travel at your own risk this may not work for everyone. 

I ended up with $45.30 in Free Pantene products :-)

You really can't bet this deal!
Jewel has Ore-Ida easy fries on sale for $1.00, and the Catalina is running various deals on Ore-Ida as follows Buy two, get a $1 Catalina; buy three, get a $2 Catalina; Buy four or more and get a $3 Catalina. For some reason this deal is working on the easy fries, though it was only supposed to be on items larger then 19.0 oz. I was able to get this deal this morning at Jewel in Sycamore. I bought 4 Ore-Ida easy fries and the Catalina printed out my $3 off coupon for my next Jewel trip! My suggesting is you should go do this deal!

Great deals without the coupons
Essentials everyday has a special with save $3 when buying any combination of breakfast products, including toaster pastries and fruit snacks, oatmeal, granola bars, and cereal. I found the best deal to be with the toaster pastries and fruit snacks because after the savings they come to $1 a box! But you can still get oatmeal for $1.75, a select cereals for $2. This deal I felt was not worth missing.

I also had several great coupons from the Catalina that I acquired. That allowed me to get free diced green chilies and $.47 per can for enchilada sauce. So hang on to everyone of those Catalina coupons that you get for your next trip, sometimes you just don't know what will be on sale!
On a side note. I get a 15% off discount at the Jewel's in Sycamore and Dekalb for being an NIU student, so I suggest you go to your local Jewel and see if you can get any similar discount.

PS. Did you know that if you have a Buy One Get One Free coupons, and the item is Buy One Get One Free in the store that you get both items for free?!?! It's true, you just have to pay for tax!

Chicago Tribune Coupon

One of the first coupons I would like to share with you is one for the Chicago Tribune. I recommend this newspaper over the Northwest Herald because the value of the coupons in the Herald  tend to be smaller then those in the Chicago Tribune, this is due to the fact that the Tribune is a much bigger and more popular then the Herald.
